MeterTag Support

Supported Platforms
Apple platform development. Platform availability remains subject to the installed development build and its release notes.
Identify the meter
QR identity supports a deliberate connection between a meter and its local record.
Capture and confirm
Still-photo capture and on-device OCR can propose a reading; the human remains the authority who confirms it.
Preserve local evidence
Meter evidence remains local by default. History and export are described as available only where the installed build provides them.
Keep billing separate
MeterTag captures and validates; the customer’s existing system bills.
Permissions
The current implementation evidence establishes camera access for QR and still-photo capture. MeterTag does not use the camera invisibly; Apple presents the permission request.
Export, Save and Sharing
Use only controls present in the installed build. Before sharing, review the destination and remove sensitive content you do not intend to disclose.
Purchases and Restore Purchases
No public purchase or subscription claim is made for this development-stage product. Apple processes any StoreKit purchase that a future certified build may offer.
Accessibility and Device Guidance
Use Apple device accessibility settings and the controls available in the installed build. Contact support if a workflow is not usable with your access needs.
Troubleshooting
- A feature is unavailable: confirm that your installed build and device support it.
- A permission is declined: review the relevant app access in Apple device Settings only if the installed build requests it.
- Unexpected behavior: restart the app and include the device model and app version when contacting support.
Known Limitations
MeterTag is not a utility billing system and does not guarantee recognition accuracy or universal meter compatibility.
