Selected screenshots and document images are processed locally for the core workflow and are not uploaded to UnliPop Studio servers.

Selected images and documents

RedactIR processes only the screenshots and document images you select. It does not require background access to unrelated photos or files for the core workflow.

On-device analysis

OCR, supported detection, privacy assessment, review, and redaction occur locally in the current app architecture. The source material does not need to leave your device for the core workflow.

Face Data and Face Detection

RedactIR does not collect face data. Face detection runs only on images you select and occurs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Vision is used only to locate candidate face regions for your review and possible redaction.

RedactIR does not perform face recognition, create biometric identifiers or templates, generate faceprints or embeddings, match identities, infer identities, or create identity profiles. Face information is not uploaded, processed in the cloud, shared with third parties, or sent to analytics or telemetry.

Temporary face-detection results consist only of candidate bounding regions and counts used during the active review. They remain in app memory only for that review and are discarded when the review is cleared or the app process terminates. RedactIR does not retain those results. Only secure images that you explicitly choose to export are retained at the destination you select.

Export and sharing

RedactIR creates a flattened, bitmap-burned secure copy. You decide whether to export it and where to save or share it. Inspect the result before sharing.

Accounts and analytics

No RedactIR account is required. The app does not use third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, or telemetry for the core experience.

Purchases

Apple processes the optional RedactIR Pro one-time lifetime unlock. UnliPop Studio does not receive your full payment-card information through the app.

Data retention

UnliPop Studio does not need to retain source documents on its servers for the current local workflow. Files you save or share remain subject to the destination’s practices and your device controls.
